Hey students!!! 🤓
How are things doing today? 🤗
It’s the 7th of September in Brazil🇧🇷 and, an important historical date!
Also, it is a holiday! 🎉
I personally 🧖🏾♀🧘♂ decided to visit my family and get away from it all , since last couple weeks were pretty good, but also, tiring.
“Get away from it all?”
What does that mean? 📝
When you’re tired of routine, maybe to busy and feel you need a break, use that idiom to express the need of taking a break, even if a short one 📝
In use:
– I was working a lot last month, so I travelled to visit my parents and got away from it all for a couple of days
– I’m travelling to the countryside next month, I don’t like the city rush, I wanna get away from it all for a while and enjoy the silence.
– Daniel had burn out symptoms, so his doctor issued a medical license. He got away from all work and responsabilities for 30 days.
PRONUNCIATION 🗣
I hope you are getting away from it all right now, just by enjoying your holiday 🫂🙃
